Hi all,
We are a part of Board seat 14 search committee and want to share the
following as a process suggestion for discussion. This is just a
recommendation to help structure our approach.
*Phase 1: NCSG internal selection*
1.
The PC drafts a set of questions for all eight candidates to respond to
by email. I think three questions are enough (Eight people applied, I
suggest Bruna and Ken who is a part of NCSG search committee to lead this
work, it will have to start by mid feb after search committee is done
ranking)
2.
Based on the written responses, the PC ranks the candidates (also taking
into account the Search Committee’s ranking) and selects four candidates
for interviews.
3.
After the interviews, the PC agrees on a final list of three candidates.
(This has to be done before Mumbai or during Mumbai)
*Phase 2: CSG coordination*
-
Exchange results with the CSG to identify any overlap in this manner: we
can share our top candidate first and see if there is alignment. If not, we
can move to our second choice (or vice versa).
This is meant as a practical framework to guide the discussion and keep the
process predictable and transparent.
Rafik, I believe in the past NCSG chair did the CSG coordination.
