Dear Rafik, NCSG Chair
Dear Remmy, NCSG-FC vice chair
I am delighted to see that we are all friends here. That's great.
The Finance Committee is very important, and in accordance with its
charter, my activities will focus on:
- transparent collaboration with the NCSG Chair and other members;
- prioritizing capacity building with ICANN staff to understand current
financial documents and methodologies;
- regular monitoring of the NCSG's financial activities and trends;
- improving the fundraising strategy to enable the NCSG to secure more
funding and enhance its outreach activities, with the support of volunteers;
- organizing a face-to-face meeting of the NCSG-FC once a year to define
our annual strategy.(with ICANN support)
I have extensive experience in strategy, finance, and budgeting. These
include:
- 10 years of experience in the budget department in our public
administration;
- Board of Directors of the World Computer Exchange (USA) in 2005; -
- Venture Capital fellow at Laconia VC (USA) in 2005;
- 2024 NCUC delegate to NOMCOM (mandate reduce because of the new bylaws);
- former Board chair of African Center for Advocacy (2018-2024)
- PMP training
.......
Best regards,
Pascal
