membership issues and pending applications.

Discussion Summary

I.  Updating NCSG's technology tools, processes.

ICANN staff is currently researching and pulling together a proposal  
for providing an integrated membership database that incorporates all  
our needs from the initial membership application to the regular  
maintenance of the data over the lifetime of the member.  Robin spoke  
to Ken Bour and Glen de St. Gery from staff last week to explain our  
data management needs are willing to work with us to find a solution.

Also, ICANN has reworked the confluence website for NCSG to make a  
better structure (with this testing page):

We should consider what comments or suggestions for changes should be  
made to the above proposed wiki structure.   We can post new info  
here that can then be pulled onto the GNSO page for NCSG to keep it  
dynamic and more substantive.  The question of how to best utilize  
the new myicann website was also raised for further consideration.

II.  Pending 15 NCSG membership applications.

In the current batch of 15 pending NCSG membership applications, the  
EC members present during the discussion approved the applications  
for 12 of the applicants and require further clarification from 3  
applicants.  Any EC member who was not present during the meeting's  
discussion on an applicant that was approved during the meeting has 2  
days in which to object to that application's approval decision or  
request additional information or discussion on that application.   
Otherwise, hearing no objection on this list within 2 days time from  
the sending of this notice of approval, these 12 applications will be  
deemed APPROVED and the applicant ACCEPTED as a member into NCSG at  
that time.  (Review complete membership application data here).

follow-up from MM on applicant.  Also applied under criteria 1  
(noncom domain), but domain name supplied appears commercial.   
Further clarification required.

2.  REPAOC
RG, AB, RD, Awaiting information regarding how organization is funded  
since that question was not answered.

3.  TaC-Together against Cybercrime International
Robin Gross, Alain Berranger, Rafik Damak require clarification about  
SIZE of organization.  Is this one person, several people, does it  
meet eligibility for LARGE org?
