I think the ship of holding the reps accountable has sailed, we should move
on (or talk about it on another thread).
we need to look for a solution and re-open the issue. How could they
actually do a vote without the affected parties present! Obviously the
community does not want to support a fair outcome for NCSG. So we need to
re-open the issue and the recommendation should not have been removed.
Many  issues when there is a power imbalance should not be solely decided
by the community. Because the community can be biased. We have to explain
that this recommendation was to rectify an inherent unfairness and
imbalance, and the majority of community should not have removed the
recommendation. Because it affected the minority that is at a disadvantage.
How we do the rebalancing is another topic.

So I think we need
1) an open letter to the Board nicely worded.
2) a nicely worded blog. which in these circumstances can help. I really
think it's time to write it up.
