Transfer fee and sanctions

Hi all,

Farzi, you know damn well I took that responsibility off you, after being
an observer and trying to ask you to let me cover for you when you couldn't
make it to meetings - I got zero response from you for these requests, I
made those a few times. It was like talking to a brick wall. Definitely not
a great intro for working as a representative of the NCSG - there was zero
interest from you to help me (a newbie to policy work) and to be honest, I
find it a little insulting that you publicly claim here you didn't know who
is taking this responsibility from you. I find it suspicious that you're
trying to make it seem that you have no knowledge of this but really can't
fathom how this kind of behavior is positively serving the NCSG and its
members. I guess that is somewhat in line with making no effort whatsoever
to give me any idea of what's happening in the group or what to look out
for. It is no small wonder there are not too many new people trying to do
policy work for NCSG. I also sent you a reply to your first mail in this
thread, confronting you about this dishonesty, and unsurprisingly, didn't
get a reply then either.

I've tried to understand the issues of the TPR but like I told Tomslin
already in November, I found it overwhelming and that was BEFORE they made
these 90 minute meetings bi-weekly. I asked for additional seats in
exchange for this change into a EPDP, (at least schedule wise) in the TPR
group, but my comment was found to be "interesting" and swiftly ignored
after that.

Perhaps you could tell me, was the price of the transfer in scope in the
past Transfer Process Policy? I have not heard of any discussion of the
transfer price or sanctions in the meetings I've attended, I've tried my
best to attend at least weekly but I have not been able to do that every
single week.

Tomslin, I can not attend the NCSG policy calls, since I'm always working
at that time. I think for Juan it will be even harder, because that's like
4 or 5 am for his timezone. I gotta say, that time should be rotated
somewhat. I could make 13 UTC at best, but not a minute before.

In all honesty, I've received zero guidance and have not been able to
produce a report for the NCSG. All the sessions I've attended have been
about nitty gritty details on timestamps, reactions and counter reactions
with the registrant and the registrar. I've felt that I haven't had much to
say about those mechanics.

I do not mind at all, if somebody wants to have a go at it, as I said, I
aired my anxiety about being the rep in November and nothing has changed
for the positive since then. The amount of meetings per week has doubled.
