Hi Rafik,

It has been great collaborating with you recently and in particular during
the event yesterday.

I am sorry for our delay following up about the NCSG joining the Alliance.
To explain, we have had limited bandwidth to work together as the Alliance
and have been focused on producing analysis from within our individual
coalitions. However, given the recent opposition from some governments to
the human rights language, we are now working on a joint statement of the
Alliance (the Global Digital Rights Coalition, the Global Digital Justice
Forum and the Global South Alliance) on human rights, and we would very
much like to also collaborate with the NCSG and its members on this.

We are working today to reconcile and finalise the edits, with the aim of
having a final version ready for tomorrow and publishing the statement on
Monday (3rd November). It is quite a tight timeline but this should give 48
working hours (Thursday morning - Monday morning) for review and
endorsement by members of our respective coalitions.

We also have a Signal group for coordination. If you let me know your
contact details / the details of other Excom members, I can add you to the
group.
