Raymond,

I am specifically thinking of the role of the mentor as described:

"Mentors should encourage NextGen to find ways to contribute to an
SO/AC or working group(s) that interests them. The focus should be
on assisting NextGen to integrate into the community and engaging
them with ICANN processes. Newcomers should have the necessary support
to find their place within ICANN’s multistakeholder processes."

Whet we need is mentors who can help mentees get into ICANN processes.
That doesn't necessarily mean it has to be someone with council
experience, but the GNSO council is our main tool for policy work.
