Hi all,

I see we have support from Carlos, Martin, Tatiana, Elsa and no strong objections heard from others. Moreover, the letter received support in NCSG list and get edits resolved.
The letter is finalized and we have a real time constraint to send letter in timely manner.
I interpret that we have consensus and the letter can be endorsed as NCSG letter. I would like to ask Stephanie as NCSG chair to send the letter to ICANN board and CEO.

As you might know there is ongoing discussion in NCSG list about PIR sale by ISOC and what should be NCSG position. There was an initial letter which didn't consensus and now we have a second draft proposed as alternative under discussion and review.

I am putting this so PC can consider the letter and hopefully we will get a final version soon. I understand we have to reach decision on timely manner

you can see a new proposed letter to ICANN. I have started from scratch.



The main difference is that instead of screaming about the sale I am focusing on the conditions attached to the original award of .ORG to PIR. I am asking ICANN to recognize its obligation to ensure that those conditions continue to be met.



Anyone with the link can comment. I hope this can gather quick support. I think we have wasted a lot of time and need to act quickly. If NCSG cannot act fast enugh I will publish it as an open letter to ICANN on the IGP blog, and accept sign-ons from anyone willing.
