Hi everyone,

James sent me email to withdraw his candidature, he will follow the drafting process and looking to get involved in the WG to be formed.

With this, it becomes clear that we have 2 representatives i.e. Klaus and Olivie. I think we can close this and I will inform Glen about the appointment in next hours.

Best,

Rafik

Hi,

updates of the votes (including mine : Klaus and James)

James got 4 votes, Klaus 6 votes and Olivie 4 vote.

it sounds we need tie-break here, the missing votes are from David and Marilia.

we have to finish this process. I guess we should discuss later on how to make appointment process more fast in the case of multiple candidates,

Best,

Rafik

Hi everyone,

I tried to find out all selections made by PC members since we started the discussion, and only Klaus, Sam, Matt, Amr and Ed made their choices:

James got 3 votes, Stephanie (withdrawn) 3 votes , Klaus 2 votes and Olivie 1 vote.

I am not sure here if the rest of PC want to vote today and made final the decision for the appointment

Best,

Rafik

I believe that on April 29th Paul withdrew from consideration writing "then I will wait to join the substantive group as you suggest". If Stephanie (? next to withdraw) and Paul are active candidates then I would support both of them. Let's remember that this is the DT, not the WG, and as such procedural knowledge and attention to detail are of great importance. Both Stephanie and Paul have proven abilities in these areas.

Hi Ed,

I do think it was set since the beginning that is about drafting team and not a working group (that was clarified several times)

Hi everyone,

we need to close this soon, I would set the deadline to Monday. some PC members didn't share their input yet . please do so!

then we will see who are the top 2 among slates proposed by PC members. the 2 selected representatives will have to commit to do the work in DT ,report to NCSG updates and request for input.

the list of candidates till now:

1. Klaus Stoll
2. James Gannon
3. Paul Rosenzweig
4. Arthur Gwawa
5. Stephanie Perrin (withdraw?)
6. Ol?vi? Kouami
7. Sonigitu Ekpe
8. Arsene Tungali (withdraw)

in addition to:

9. Sam Lanfranco who deferred to Klaus Stoll
10. Matthew Shears who deferred to James Gannon

yes we are over the GNSO deadline already.
