[PC-NCSG] ICANN Board Election and NCSG participation in the election

Representatives:

It looks like one of NCSG's GNSO Representatives did not vote in last week's ICANN Board election:
  https://tally.icann.org/cgi/results?a=pr&e=478fe5066c0

All 6 representatives in Singapore agreed to be bound to vote for the NCSG candidate in the election for a board seat and Avri was our candidate.  This is a very important responsibility: to represent noncommercial users in the election for a board seat.  It is one of the most important things that NCSG does.

So what happened?  How did we happen to lose this election on the first round?
