Thato,

While I appreciate your concern here I think you are missing something 
in the context.

For reasons that need not concern us Ayden Ferdeline is stepping down as 
Chair of the Finance Committee. Unless I am mistaken that basically 
leaves two possible interim Chairs for the FC, myself representing NPOC 
and Stephanie as Chair of NCSG. Stephanie, as Chair of NCSG cannot serve 
as Chair here. We are talking about an interim chair until NCSG appoints 
its member and (as you note) the FC chair is appointed by a 2/3rds vote 
of the FC.

As soon as NCUC appoints its member, there can be a vote for the FC 
Chair and I can cease being interim Chair.

/What is it that I do not understand about your position with regard to 
due process around the appointment of the next FC Chair?/
