Hi team,
I’m happy to shorten the presentation, but I think we should make sure we reserve at least 15-20 minutes to the PDP. That way the remaining 40 minutes can be focused on SSAD and law enforcement. Would that work for you @farzaneh badii<mailto:farzaneh.badii at gmail.com>?
As I did for the GAC slides, I would just focus on rec’s for 3 and 7 (an updated/shortened version attached here). Looping in @Andrea Glandon<mailto:andrea.glandon at icann.org> for awareness on updated slides.
Thoughts?
Best,
Michaela

Hi Michaela
SSAD and law enforcement access is making fast progress. So we might dedicate a good chunk of it regarding hria and SSAD.
Rafik, what should we do in this case?

Dear all,
Sharing here<https://canva.link/uie13tuo8jjq8qp> some draft slides that I have been working on with updates on where we are in the PDP, and NCSG's positioning and comments on specific language that has been put forward so far. I have left it on comment-only for now, but if you'd like edit access please reach out individually and I'd be happy to add you.
Especially those who are in the PDP/closely following it, please leave comments and let me know if there are any changes you would like to make ahead of the meeting with the CPH on Wednesday. The content was VERY heavily pulled from the presentation and summary shared by @farzaneh badii<mailto:farzaneh.badii at gmail.com> to the PC, and the hard work of the PDP representatives across the NCSG, NCUC and NPOC.
Looking forward to seeing many of you online and in-person this week in Seville!
Best,
Michaela

Hi Michaela,
Thanks for the comments. I understand we can go with the proposed topics and corollaries but not suggesting other issues for discussion.
It will be great to have material/slides ready to steer and structure the dialogue with CPH.
Best,
Rafik

Hi Rafik,
On the CPH meeting: I’m happy to prepare and share updates on the ADC PDP alongside other NCSG/NPOC/NCUC representatives in the working group. @farzaneh badii<mailto:farzaneh.badii at gmail.com> prepared a presentation highlighting some of the high-level framings we have presented in the PDP meetings, which provides a great starting point. I’m also happy to lead on discussing remedy as a topic that goes beyond the ADC PDP, which the CPH have previously expressed an interest in discussing further.
On the SSAC meeting, I don’t think I was involved in the discussion on HRIAs for SSAC so I’m happy to leave this to Farzaneh and come in where helpful 😊
Best,
Michaela

Hi all,
CPH reached out about the agenda suggesting ADC PDP and the SSAD SRT and asking if we have other topics.
Any comment or suggestion?
Best,
Rafik

Hi all,
SSAC shared about agenda for the join meeting which matches the follow-up from the previous meeting:
"The SSAC does not have any new papers or fresh topics to introduce for this session's agenda. Instead, they would like to dedicate the primary slot of the joint session to the Human Rights Impact Assessments (HRIA) framework presentation from the NCSG, as a follow up from the discussions at ICANN83 and 85.
Draft Agenda
1. Welcome Remarks and Introductions
2. Follow-up on Follow-up on Previous Topics
* DNS Abuse PDP1 (brief exchange of perspective-sharing on the ongoing PDP)
* Safer Cyber Campaign Outreach (update on the ongoing webinar series and the standing offer from SSAC to provide experts for tailored sessions for the NCSG's audience)
3. Human Rights Impact Assessment Framework
* Briefing/presentation by NCSG
* Discussion - all
4. AOB"
@farzaneh badii<mailto:farzaneh.badii at gmail.com> @Michaela Nakayama Shapiro<mailto:michaela.shapiro at article19.org> Can you please prepare material on HRIA adapted to SSAC case.
Best,
Rafik

Hi all,
we will have 3 joint sessions in Seville meeting:
- SSAC
- CPH
- CSG
Can you please share suggestions for topics so we can fix the agenda for those meetings and more importantly prepare accordingly.
For SSAC, as follow-up from the Mumbai meeting we have an action item to give an explanation/presentation about HRIA.
For CSG, we have as placeholder lessons learnt from board seat 14 process, preparation for day 0, GNSO chair election and policy topics such as DNS abuse. For CPH, we have DNS abuse and SSAD, but we should prepare more follow-up and bring specific topics based on ongoing discussion in those groups.
Best,
Rafik
