hi all,

The process to plan for ICANN83 started already. As you can see in the
block schedule, we only have 4 days and between 3 to 4 slots on each day.
In coordination with NPOC and NCUC chairs, we will have a non-commercial
day on Tuesday and use each time slot as a block instead of having separate
NPOC/NCUC/NCSG sessions in order to streamline and avoid duplication.
For joint sessions, we will have only sessions with SSAC and  currently as
placeholder with CSG. For GAC, I already made a request but I doubt we can
get a slot with them but we can schedule ahead for the Oman meeting. We
also need to see what the GNSO council will schedule as a session to avoid
clashing.
For issue forum or HRIA sessions, I think it will be complicated to find
slots due to the availability constraint.

I hope ICANN82 is going well!



ICANN83 however is just around the corner. We will send out calendar
invitations for the first Production call shortly, it will take place the
week of the 24th March.



Attached is the Production timeline, as you can see, it is extremely tight
with the scheduling tool (EMS) opening on the 7th April 2025.



In order for you to start planning your group schedules ahead the
Production call, please find attached the Proposed Block Schedule. As per
tradition, there will be four time blocks per day, over four days of Policy
forum.
