Hi Rafik

So we did mention during the preparation that if the communities
co-organize and co-submit proposals that would be better. Nobody reached
out to us and we reached out to nobody. Proposal number 1 sounds promising
but there are multiple weaknesses: 1) the topic is being discussed
everywhere (the core values of the Internet) with no clear action items and
by the same people for years. They have conveniently forgotten to add the
GNSO. As long as ALAC is willing to work with NCSG and the GNSO and willing
to reconsider its list of speakers and the excruciatingly boring panel
conversations and invite outside experts, or at least people who have been
decision makers in these areas (like the sovereign tech amba from Europe
and a few others) then there might be some hope.

The second proposal, this topic (global public interest and new gtlds) is
creative and might be interesting. I also like it that they will consider
other kinds of format.

I only see two proposals? For the AGM I would like to work with other
groups to have a human rights led conversation.

My two cents.

Farzaneh
