I also reject the application for not being a noncommercial interest.  

Additionally, NCSG is not in the business of education.  NCSG is created for advocacy of noncommercial interests in DNS policy.  We get too many applicants who are not interested in advocating for noncommercial interests and think hanging-out and general learning is a reason we would spend our resources and energy on them.  They are wrong.  We accept noncommercial advocates and our raison d'être is noncommercial advocacy.  If they want to learn, join the ICANN academy or something designed for education.
