[EC-NCSG] Hyderabad travel slot - urgent

Dear all,

While I'd prefer to hear from others first, time is so short that I'll
go ahead and make my initial evaluation without waiting any more.

My first choice would be Sarah Clayton. In particular her recent
activity in several working groups on hot topics that will be on
council agenda in Hyderabad is what I find very persuasive.
And her past work on DIDP was rather impressive, too.

Second place would be harder to assign. Rohas has a fair amount of
experience in ICANN but almost all of it some time ago and with
At-Large, very little in GNSO. Donkor and Plommer are in a few
current working groups but have not been very active.
I'd say it's pretty much a tossup between the three.

Of the rest, Gitau is fairly active in our mailing lists but I'm not
aware of any working group participation. Sooknanan has been inactive
for several years. Hajiyev hasn't been active recently either.

Given that we want someone who could jump into council work, touching
ground running as it were, I therefore propose to choose Clayton.

I am of course open to be persuaded otherwise, but please speak
up quickly: we really should decide this today if at all possible.

Thank you.

Tapani
