[EC-NCSG] New NCSG Membership Applications Approval by email ?

Dear Colleagues,

Do you think possible to do routine approval by email on an on-going basis
and to hold telephone calls for more difficult cases?

For instance, I would approve the following applications by email without
any hesitation:

Internet Society Belgium
ISOC Armenia

I would not approve:

Engineering Academy of Armenia... I would hesitate because I cannot find
the website www.academy.am - when searching it brings me to
http://academy.academy-info.com/ ...when I search and click on Armenia, it
brings me to http://www.sci.am/ - the National Academy of Sciences of
Armenia... This is probably OK but requires explanation from the
applicant...

What do you think?
