Alain,
No need for you to go into hysterics. We have all agreed the form
needs a number of improvements. What we need to discuss calmly,
without accusations or hysterical claims of being beaten, is what
specific changes need to be made and how to do it (who and when).
And we are still waiting for you to explain your claim that it is an
"illegal" activity for EC to conduct due diligence.
The membership approval process for NCSG is not the same as
individual constituencies. Firstly, NCSG-EC handles the applications
for membership to the NCSG. NCUC and NPOC have no vote in NCSG
memberships - only the NCSG-EC. So we can't offload the NCSG
responsibilities onto constituencies, who have their own membership
evaluations to make.
I have no idea what you are talking about with this "US Red", but I
suspect I don't really need to know.
We will spend some time in our NCSG-EC meeting in Toronto going over
this process, but I again ask that you review the NCSG Charter and
what it says about NCSG EC and membership because that is the
document we follow on these issue.
Thanks,
Robin
