[Ncsg-discuss] [Announcement] Welcome to New NCSG Members, April 2026

Greetings NCSG Community!

This is Jasmine, and I am thrilled to officially join the Non-Commercial
Stakeholder Group. Currently based in Hong Kong, I serve as the *Program
Manager of the Community Changemaker Fellowship at Resolve Foundation*,
where I work to empower *grassroots *leaders from *marginalized *communities
to drive systemic social change.

My journey in Internet Governance has been a long-standing commitment to
ensuring the network remains *inclusive and equitable*. I am joining NCSG
because I believe that protecting non-commercial interests—specifically
privacy, and human rights—is fundamental to the safety and success of the
community leaders I support today.

*My Background in ICANN Ecosystem:* Over the past several years, I have
been deeply involved in various facets of the multi-stakeholder model,
which has shaped my perspective on global policy:

   -

   *ICANN & Community Leadership:* I am a former *ICANN Fellow* and have
   served as the *ACES Regional Lead in ALAC*, where I focused on
   representing end-user interests and fostering regional collaboration.
   -

   *Regional Governance:* I previously served as the *Secretariat for the
   Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF)* and worked as
   a *Project Manager at DotAsia*, managing cross-border initiatives and
   stakeholder engagement.
   -

   *Youth & Research:* My roots in this space began as a *Netmission+ Youth
   Alumni*, where I transitioned from a youth advocate to a *Research
   Analyst*, focusing on the socio-technical impacts of Internet policy on
   the next generation of users.

*Why NCSG?* In my *current role* at Resolve Foundation, I witness daily how
digital rights—or the lack thereof—*impact the most vulnerable*. Whether it
is addressing online harassment, ensuring Universal Acceptance for diverse
scripts, or defending the privacy of activists, the work done within NCSG
is more critical than ever.

I look forward to contributing my experience in *DEI (Diversity, Equity,
and Inclusion)* and my background in *regional policy* to the ongoing
discussions within the GNSO. I am particularly interested in working on
policies that intersect with human rights, digital safety for
non-commercial users.

I am eager to learn from and collaborate with all of you to ensure a
trustworthy and inclusive Internet for everyone. Please feel free to reach
out—I would love to connect and see how I can support our collective
mission.
