Hi Rafik,
Thank you for the opportunity to suggest topics.
>From my perspective, I would be interested in hearing Kurt's views on a few
broader strategic questions:
*1. Balancing privacy and legitimate access to registration data*
-
As the SSAD discussions continue, how does ICANN envision supporting a
framework that improves predictability and trust for legitimate requestors
while respecting applicable data protection laws?
*2. Strengthening the multistakeholder model*
-
What opportunities does ICANN see for improving participation from
underrepresented regions and newcomers so that policy development benefits
from more diverse perspectives?
*3. Future priorities for policy implementation*
-
Looking beyond the current workstreams, what policy areas does the CEO
believe will require the greatest community attention over the next 2–3
years?
*4. Building community trust*
-
As policy discussions become increasingly complex and sometimes
polarized, what practical steps does ICANN leadership believe are most
important to maintain trust between the community, the Board, and the
organization?
I believe these topics would provide useful strategic context for the
community's ongoing work.
Warm Regards,
