[Ncsg-discuss] Topics for the call with ICANN CEO

Hi Rafik,

Thank you for inviting input.
One topic I believe would be valuable to raise is how ICANN plans to
strengthen meaningful participation by noncommercial stakeholders,
particularly those from underserved and developing regions, as policy work
becomes increasingly complex and resource-intensive.

One possible question could be:
How does ICANN plan to ensure that civil society and noncommercial
stakeholders continue to have meaningful opportunities to contribute to
policy development as the community prepares for the next round of the New
gTLD Program and other major strategic initiatives?
Second (two-part question): Are there additional measures being considered
to reduce barriers to sustained participation and leadership within the
multistakeholder model?

I believe this aligns well with NCSG's mission of promoting inclusive,
bottom-up policymaking while ensuring diverse voices continue to shape
ICANN's work.
