[Ncsg-discuss] Extending the ICP2 review

Thanks Emmanuel.

Trust me. We have so much to do that we thought we just observe this ICP2
review process. I would have loved to not get involved with this. But since
I got curious about ICANN conduct in the recent African community issue,  I
had to look into it closely. And this review is  not just an Afrinic issue
anymore. ICANN has been given a broad mandate to provide oversight and more
power to derecognize and recognize RIRs. We can’t have that.
I invite people to look at these very useful slides. It is very clear how
the changes have extended ICANN control. Though this is not just an Afrinic
issue, Also note that nobody from Afrinic was a member of ASO when this was
happening.
