[ICANN Meeting] ICANN82 Seattle Day 5

hi everyone,

We had several NCSG sessions today. We began with the meeting with the
board where we responded to their questions regarding, meeting structure,
how to engage with governments and challenges regarding participation in
the budget process. Then the board responded to our question about the
Global Public Interest framework. We had the NCSG policy committee session
where we went through the GNSO council public meeting agenda and discussed
in length about the vote for the transfer policy review report, data
accuracy, billing contact and urgent requests to decide on how to vote and
which points to raise tomorrow.

We had our NCSG issue forum on applicant support program where more details
about non-financial support were shared and some overview about registry
service providers. Finally, we had our last NCSG session of this ICANN
meeting, with the NCSG  membership session where we discussed about the
joint meetings we had, about HRIA on DNS abuse and RDRS, update from policy
committee sessions and the policy topics then we had our guest Russ
Weinstein the ICANN VP of policy development.
