RDRS update

Dear NCSG colleagues,

As I brought up the RDRS work during the PC meeting, they are assessing
group consensus on the recommendations. Generally the recommendations are
not that problematic but if you see a problem we can always weigh in during
the public comment period.

RDRS Standing Committee  opened the *Consensus Call* on Assignment 4
recommendations (opened *11 Aug*, closed *15 Aug at 23:59 UTC*). The
leadership has proposed *Full Consensus* on all six finalized
recommendations:

   1.

   Continue RDRS beyond the pilot
   2.

   Authentication for interested requestor groups (starting with LE)
   3.

   Key system enhancements post-pilot (API, UX redesign, optional ccTLD
   participation)
   4.

   Further policy work (Privacy/Proxy data; RDRS links in RDAP)
   5.

   Next steps on EPDP Phase 2/SSAD policy recommendations
   6.

   Maintain the current SC with narrowed scope

 If anyone in NCSG has concerns—especially around requestor authentication,
implementation safeguards, or scope—please flag them so we can reflect them
in the public comment. The report is attached.
