Latin diacritics PDP meeting 2

Dear all,

The Latin Diacritics PDP Working Group just concluded its third
meeting. Discussion about scope continued, one contentious case is
what to do if someone applies only for diacritic versions of a string
(say, .sjöberg and .sjóberg but not .sjoberg). Strict reading of the
charter seems to exclude that even though there's no technical or
other apparent reason to do so. No conclusion was reached, discussion
will continue.

There was also some initial talk about whether elements of ccTLD fast
track process would be applicable, no ocnclusions as yet.
