[GNSO-SOI-TF] Please respond - TF follow up questions

Hi Jean,
Sorry for the mess up.

It was interesting because PIR was also there and they also made a
statement about the necessity of disclosing who we represent in policy
groups. We spent almost all the town hall time discussing this.
The IPC made the point that sometimes disclosing clients can harm them
(even when they are brands). Also they took issue with why we said "*If
clients are not willing to be disclosed, they should not be represented." *They
said it goes against inclusivity.

Thomas Rickert (a councilor) made a good point that perhaps as well as
the SOI we should have other mechanisms (maybe escalation?) that people can
use if the interest of one company is over-represented.
Manju made some good points about the process and will attend the task
force informal session.

Kathy also made great comments. I will find the transcript and send it to
you.

I think we laid a good foundation to advance our position in the task
force.
