NCSG 2022 Elections Timeline - Checkin starts Tuesday, April 26th !

Hope everyone is ok and well!

Its that time of the year again: Leadership elections! This year,
considering the deadline for submission of names for the AGM travel we will
host elections a bit sooner than usual. And below you can find some key
information:

*NCSG ELECTIONS TIMELINE *
*26 April:* Check-in begins
*28 April - 05 May:* Nomination Period
*05 May:* Deadline for nomination acceptance and candidate statement.
*6 May:* Meet the candidates call / Check-in ends
*9 May (00:00 UTC) to 16 May (23:59 UTC): *Confidential, electronic voting
period
*17 May: *Announcement of results


*Slots *
*According to our bylaws, and GNSO council terms, the following positions
will be open for nominations: *

*NCSG Chair *
Bruna Martins dos Santos - Term limited, completed 2 terms

*NCSG Councilors *
Juan Manuel Rojas LAC - Eligible for reelection, Term #1 ends at AGM 2022
Wisdom Donkor AF - Eligible for reelection, Term #1 ends at AGM 2022
Stephanie Perrin NA - Eligible for reelection, Term #1 ends at AGM 2022

*Relevant information:*
- Check in is mandatory for voting and starts next Tuesday, 26 April;
- NCSG members are free to self-nominate or nominate other members, but
nomination acceptance will only be accounted once we have the Candidate
Statement on the NCSG list;
- Considering NCSG aims for balanced regional representation, we would like
to encourage candidates from the AF, LAC and NA regionS to run for one of
NCSGs Councilors slots.
