Dear members, the interim report of the policy for disclosure of redacted registration data is being released today.  We on the EPDP team have had quite a struggle trying to protect registrant rights, and demanding a uniform policy regardless of whether data protection law applies in the particular jurisdiction,  but I would hardly call our efforts an unqualified success.  Please see below the announcement of an upcoming webinar on the subject of this proposed disclosure instrument. We will hold our own webinar afterwards, to provide the views of the EPDP team on the report itself.

The comment period will be 45 days.  It is important that we provide comments on this important policy.  If you have a relationship with your data commissioner, please consider writing to them with any concerns you may have.  I am happy to answer any questions.
