Hi,
Very much agree with Stephanie and James on this. For years, many of our members have been trying to figure out ways to build capacities within NCSG on policy development in the GNSO. Now there’s a possibility that a briefing be held explaining the economics of the industry, which is based on the policies that the GNSO develops.
I’d think this would be a very high priority for both those who regularly engage in PDPs, as well as those who are interested in doing so in the future.
Thanks.
Amr

Burdening the CPS with a lot admin, duties, fees for running a giant EPDP system for disclosure, etc. ultimately means higher prices for the domain names. Secondly, ICANN resources are totally dependent on a tax on DNS registration revenues. Continued growth of ICANN Org, unnecessary expenses, all impact whether we get support as a community, and whether we can afford domain names.
