IGF Climate Change

Hi everyone,

I noted an apparent absence of sessions at IGF Berlin to discuss the topic of climate impact of the Internet, and it seems a very relevant component of how responsible growth of the Internet needs to link up with other UN SDGs - with the IGF being a pertinent forum for such discussion and exchange of ideas - indeed it was noted in this ITU report:

Is anyone looking into this, or would like to collaborate? Maybe we can convene a dynamic debate or proposition during the IGF?

(I appreciate that this is not directly relevant to a particular current ICANN policy track, but I’m sure this might be of broader interest to many of those on this list)
