Upcoming GNSO Council meeting at ICANN 65

Unfortunately, it appears that Elsa Saade is unable to attend the upcoming meeting (ICANN65) in Marrakech.  We are already very very late for travel arrangements, but I am hereby issuing a call for persons interested in replacing her on the GNSO Council as an alternate to submit their statements of interest immediately.  The NCSG EC will make a decision by Saturday May 11, and the replacement traveller must be able to submit his/her travel request immediately.  Those with a lengthy visa process may find this shortened timeframe difficult, so please check and include visa readiness in your statement of interest, as it may be a factor we should consider at this late date, in order not to lose this travel slot.  Thank you for your understanding.

Preference may be given to those who have been following GNSO Council meetings and attending policy meetings, or who have previous experience.   This is a working position, and the person must be able to come up to speed on GNSO matters rather quickly.
