<p><font size="+1"><font face="Lucida Grande">Unfortunately, it appears that Elsa Saade is unable to attend the upcoming meeting (ICANN65) in Marrakech. We are already very very late for travel arrangements, but I am hereby issuing a call for persons interested
in replacing her on the GNSO Council as an alternate to submit their statements of interest immediately. The NCSG EC will make a decision by Saturday May 11, and the replacement traveller must be able to submit his/her travel request immediately. Those with
a lengthy visa process may find this shortened timeframe difficult, so please check and include visa readiness in your statement of interest, as it may be a factor we should consider at this late date, in order not to lose this travel slot. Thank you for
your understanding.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="+1"><font face="Lucida Grande">Preference may be given to those who have been following GNSO Council meetings and attending policy meetings, or who have previous experience. This is a working position, and the person must be able to come up
to speed on GNSO matters rather quickly.<br>
