Hi

Quick morning coffee scan: On the question of balanced representation that’s been discussed here previously, they punted the ball and call for a working group every five years to evaluate the issue. No solution offered on diversity, independence, bias and bloc voting. But a few good points on institutional memory, consistent criteria of evaluation, SSAC/RSAC voting, formalizing comms with SOACs. In general, not responsive to recent shenanigans but no surprise there.

The review is an important process to evaluate and do a structural assessment of organization like nomcom.

This is an another opportunity for us to reinforce our points and to review the recommendations from the independent examiner which may be far from being satisfactory.

Reviewing the report and the background material is first step to get familiar with the issue and recommendations.
