[Public Comments] Call for Volunteers for Proposed Revisions to Bylaws Section 11

Hi all,

We have a new public comment just opened regarding revisions of section 11
of ICANN Bylaws. This change is resulted from proposals approved by GNSO
Council to adopt new voting thresholds taking in consideration the new
rights and responsibilities of the Empowered Community resulting from ICANN
accountability changes. You can find the background and more details here

to kick-off the discussion.

The changes were proposed initially by a drafting team which focused on
suggesting amendments to GNSO Operating Procedures (that was adopted in
Last January meeting this year) and changes to the bylaws in section 11
which concerns GNSO. Those change were supported by our NCSG members in
drafting team and then by NCSG representatives to the council by voting
unanimously thr adoption.

I do believe this comment will be straightforward and so a good opportunity
for volunteers and newcomers to jump in, review the material, asking any
questions or clarification to those who were involved, learning and getting
a better idea about GNSO council procedures and empowered community rights
and draft the comment.
