<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>We have a new public comment just opened regarding revisions of section 11 of ICANN Bylaws. This change is resulted from proposals approved by GNSO Council to adopt new voting thresholds taking in consideration the new rights and responsibilities of the Empowered Community resulting from ICANN accountability changes. Those change were supported by our NCSG members in drafting team and then by NCSG representatives to the council by voting unanimously thr adoption.</div><div><br></div><div>I do believe this comment will be straightforward and so a good opportunity for volunteers and newcomers to jump in, review the material, asking any questions or clarification to those who were involved, learning and getting a better idea about GNSO council procedures and empowered community rights and draft the comment. </div><div><br></div><div>Please let me know offlist if you want to volunteer for the drafting.</div><div><br></div><div>You can find previous public comment submitted by NCSG here <a href="https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Public+Comments+-+2018" target="_blank">https://community.icann.org/<wbr>display/gnsononcomstake/<wbr>Public+Comments+-+2018</a>.</div><div><br></div><div>Best Regards,</div><div><br></div><div>NCSG Policy Committee Chair </div><div><br></div></div>
