Africa DNS Forum Happening tomorrow

Africa DNS Forum is going to happen tomorrow.

Like many of the other regional DNS Forums (we had some improvement in the
Middle EastDNS Forum), looking at the agenda, it is very industry oriented
with not much focus on registrants rights. The program looks very similar
to GDD summit while ICANN argues that it's for all the regional
stakeholders to attend and bring the perspectives. While this is not closed
to civil society, I do not see any domain name registrants' rights
perspective sessions except the GDPR session which has a compliance focus.
We also don't know who the speakers will be. We have not been able to
change this unfortunately in many of the regional DNS forum and be included
in the program (other than the Middle East DNS Forum).

Is anyone from NCSG attending? DNS forums should become good occasions to
discuss regional problems that domain name registrants face and how their
rights are impacted. I am not sure at the moment we see any of that.
