Subject: [Public Comments] Call for Volunteers for Initial Report on Review of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) Charter

Hi all,

We have a new public comment just opened today regarding the Review of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) Charter initial report. You may recall receiving regularly in the NCSG list every month a report about the CSC activities and updates. The creation of that committee resulted from the IANA stewardship transition work and we have James Gannon as a representative for GNSO from non-registry side. As we didn't participate directly in the review, this is an opportunity to weigh in and share input on the proposed amendments.

You can find the background and more details here https://www.icann.org/public-comments/csc-charter-rt-initial-2018-04-11-en. I created a google doc here https://docs.google.com/document/d/18Q0SDh97XsN0m8etdGGhVby1c_vYT3omJTaeymLbfKk/edit to kick-off the discussion.

Please let me know offlist if you want to volunteer for the drafting. It is good to have several people to volunteer together and work as team so they can share the burden. The work will start by reviewing the documentation and understanding the context. I will assist and support you during the drafting, helping you for coordination, and happy to direct you where to find details or whom to ask.

You can find previous public comment submitted by NCSG here https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Public+Comments+-+2018 and thanks again for those who volunteer to draft.

Best Regards,

Rafik Dammak

NCSG Policy Committee Chair
