Hi all,
The Policy Committee sent this communication following careful deliberation
on our open Policy Call and on our publicly archived mailing list. We acted
in accordance with our charter, so to ensure that the NCSG was well
represented in the ongoing community dialogue in relation to the GDPR and
not being left out.
The position that we advocated for was consistent with prior positions and
statements that the NCSG has submitted. As policy committee chair, I
considered and believe that was the right action to do.
Best,
Rafik
