CCWG-IG/ Do we want a CCWG on Internet Governance?

Hi Farzaneh,

the things are moving for the CCWG-IG, but to summarize the concerns heard
these days in the different sessions:
- there is acknowledgment that we need such space to work on IG issues
related to ICANN
- there is concern that the CCWG is not the appropriate format for the
working group and it would better to propose or invent a new one that fits
the requirements.
- improving the mechanisms for informing and updating on the working group
activities and in particular any position taken so chartering organization
are more aware about the work.

the GNSO council didn't make any decision yet on its participation as
chartering organization and there is possibility to have a motion for next
council call about the next steps.

I think the option to be tabled would be to give the CCWG-IG time (Deadline
if Abu Dhabi for example) to make a proposal of new structure and changes
responding to the concerns. GNSO also needs to liaise with other chartering
organizations about the future the working group.
