GAC override and majority voting

Thanks, Milton. I was wondering wether or not there was a reference to who made that proposal. Thought it might be worth putting in a link to the reference in the NCSG response to the by-laws amendment concerning the rejection of GAC Advice.

Hadn’t the EC also suggested a similar change in the board’s ability to reject GAC Advice a few years ago (similar to what’s happening now), or am I mistaken in my recollection? Did it have something to do with the .xxx gTLD?
