*Organizational Reviews*

As part of its commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous
improvement, ICANN regularly conducts organizational reviews. The primary
purpose of these reviews is to evaluate ICANN's performance and its
effectiveness in fulfilling its mission of serving the global Internet
community. These assessments cover various aspects of ICANN's operations,
including governance structures, policy development processes, financial
management, accountability mechanisms, and management of critical Internet
functions such as domain name systems (DNS) and IP address allocation.

To maintain objectivity and impartiality, ICANN employs independent
third-party evaluators who have expertise in organizational assessments and
who are not affiliated with ICANN. These evaluators gather input and
feedback from a diverse group of stakeholders including the Internet
community, governments, businesses, and civil society through an extensive
stakeholder engagement process. The valuable insights they obtain from
these stakeholders aid in developing a comprehensive evaluation of ICANN's
performance and identifying areas for improvement. After the evaluation
process, the evaluators present their findings and recommendations, which
may include operational enhancements and changes in governance structures.

ICANN takes these recommendations seriously and is committed to
implementing them to improve its operations and better serve the global
Internet community. It's important to note that ICANN conducts various
types of reviews, including those of its Supporting Organizations and
Advisory Committees, in addition to its organizational review. These
reviews are essential to maintaining ICANN's accountability, transparency,
and responsiveness to the changing needs of the global Internet community.

*Continuous improvement work either within or outside of ICANN*

. Within ICANN, this could encompass ongoing efforts to streamline policy
development processes, optimize the allocation of domain names and IP
addresses, improve financial management practices, and enhance governance
structures. ICANN is also engaged in iterative improvements to its
stakeholder engagement methods, transparency initiatives, and
accountability mechanisms. These efforts are aimed at ensuring that ICANN
remains responsive to the ever-evolving needs of the global Internet
community and continues to fulfill its mission effectively.

Continuous improvement work outside of ICANN often involves data-driven
analysis, employee engagement, and a culture of innovation to drive ongoing
positive changes that lead to increased efficiency, customer satisfaction,
and overall organizational effectiveness.
