hi all,

RrSG is asking us if we want to co-sign this letter to the board.
shall we support and join them? I support the first point about timeline as
I raised that several times in interaction with board regarding policy
recommendations not being decided upon for quite long period at board level.

Best,

Rafik

Hello Rafik,

The RrSG has drafted a letter which we intend to send to the ICANN Board of
Directors. * I am sharing it to ask if the NCSG would be interested in
co-signing this letter;* I will be sending it to the other GNSO group
leaders for their consideration as well.

Implementation of GNSO-Approved Policy Recommendations: input regarding
timeline and transparency
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SxqrCp0pn_4Qi5r5pkz_aVK3ezc-s6CD6Lrwt7TqAhU/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.aymtpx8rkma7>

This letter started life as a response to the Board's failure to approve
the Transfer PDP WG's Recommendations at their most recent meeting. Rather
than focusing on that one PDP's output, however, we want to address the
broader issues of *lack of clear timelines and transparency for the Board's
review process. *

I am aiming to send this on *25 May* although that can be pushed to the
30th if needed. If you are interested in signing on (and relatedly
providing edits) please let us know! If not it would also help to know that
as we may send it sooner.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts, and to seeing you in Seville.

Thanks,

Sarah
