Hi all,

as shared previously, the timeline to submit topics for community sessions
changed. we have till 23rd march if we want to submit a topic and better to
to work with other groups to pass.

Please find the ICANN86 Community Session Topic survey open for topic
submissions. This survey will be open from today, 2nd March – 23rd March
2026. Topic submissions will be shared upon receipt on this mailing list
for all to review.

As per usual, several topics can be submitted per SO/AC, votes however will
be aggregated and presented per SO/AC.

Deadline: 23 March 2026 23:59 UTC

ICANN86 Kick off call: ICANN85 Debrief & ICANN86 discussion on block
schedule

Week of the 23 March.

Vote for Community Session topic: 24 March 2026 - 27 March 2026

ICANN86 Production call #2: 30 March 2026 Vote results & decision





Staff will circulate each topic upon submission to the planning mailing
list to allow early discussion with your respective members. The form will
stay open until the 23 March 2026 at which moment a short voting period
will commence. Running parallel, will be the first ICANN86 Kick off call
with a debrief from ICANN85 and a broad discussion on ICANN86, venue &
schedule. A second Production call will be scheduled the week after to
review the vote results of the community session topic submission. These
calendar invitations have been sent out, please let us know if you cannot
see them in your calendars.
