Dear PC

I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust and confidence shown by the
PC in selecting me to serve as Vice Chair. I sincerely appreciate the
support I have received from across the NCPH and the Council.

I believe that policy is at its strongest when it is built on the
collective wisdom of all our Stakeholder Groups and Constituencies.

This is a big role that requires rapid learning and stakeholder management,
which I don’t claim I ticked all boxes, but I am willing to learn and
execute.

I look forward to partnering closely with fellow Councilors and Council
leadership to ensure we effectively manage our demanding policy portfolio,
prioritize transparent decision-making, and uphold our bottom-up,
multi-stakeholder values.

I want to acknowledge the immense dedication and hard work of our outgoing
colleagues. Your commitment to the council and noncommercial goes without
notice, most especially Tomslin, and Manju. I also want to appreciate
Farzaneh Badiei, Julf, and Bruna for their active contributions. I look
forward to being in your DM every time :). The same goes for the new
councilors.

Also, I would like to thank Rafik for his excellent leadership as he
continues to establish sound and trusted environment between the SG&C, and
the entire ICANN community.

I will be reaching out individually to many of you soon to schedule a time
for consultation and guidance.

I look forward to your continued collaboration.
