Hi all

Here is the agenda for tomorrow's meeting. we might not be able to cover
all of them but it's good to remember what is important for us:

Meeting with Public Safety Working Group
1. Opening & Our Expectations for Authentication (10 minutes)
* NCSG believes any LEA authentication must include
    * Clear criteria for adding/removing agencies
    * Transparent listing or categorization of authenticated
agencies/Countries they are based in
    * Identification mechanisms
    * Policies that prevent abuse, revocation process
    * Accountability measures, reporting, and auditability
    * Authentication should be reviewed regularly
    * Ensure authentication process does not create a parallel system for
bypassing due process or enable “urgent” requests without verifiable
justification.
*  We agree to narrow authentication only if these safeguards exist.
2. LEA Explanation of Their Proposed Authentication Approach (10 minutes)
* How LEAs verify agency affiliation
* How domain names are validated
* Processes for updating the authenticated LEA/domain list
* Protocols in place for prevention of abuse and revocation process
3. “Urgent Disclosure” Pathway (10 minutes)
* How “urgent” requests will be signaled
* Necessary constraints to prevent misuse
* Possibility for post-hoc review or reporting
* Clear and narrow scope (public safety for critical infrastructure is
broad)
4. Transparency & Accountability Discussion (10 minutes)
* What transparency LEAs and PSWG can realistically provide
* Minimum level required for community trust
* Options for periodic reporting
5. Governance Path: Should Authentication Go Into a PDP? (10 minutes)
* IRT question
* Rationale for why this should be policy work
* Brief exchange of views
6. Next Steps (5 minutes)
* What documentation PSWG can provide with regards to the processes that
can ensure accountability and transparency
