We will have our usual NCSG Policy call on 22nd September and I expect that the main topic will be EPDP and council vote. So I suggest having 2 calls to discuss EPDP in addition to NCSG policy call. The 2 candidate dates are 10th and 17th September. If we make steady progress on the first call , we can cancel the next. I will check with our EPDP representatives to ensure their participation. We also need councillors' attendance. Best, Rafik -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Please let me know if you have any comments or amendments for the agenda. We have an important motion for the next GNSO Council meeting about the EPDP phase 2 final report. We already started discussion on the report and process in the August NCSG policy call and the 2 webinars we had. We will continue the discussion and focus on the vote. It might take an important portion of the conf call. EPDP priority 2 next steps: council will discuss a new document for next steps proposed by GNSO council leadership team , suggesting some actions . EPDP phase 1 recommendation #7, this topic was on GNSO council agenda for several meetings and we will get an update from the GNSO council liaison asking for guidance to solve the impasse at IRT level. We have the PCR (project change request) from RPM asking for timeline extension and we will review the PCR. I. Introduction II. Effective immediately, I have a conflict of interest in continuing to represent the interests of the NCSG, so I?m asking that you forward this email to the NCSG Executive and Policy committees to let them know that I will no longer be able to keep my NCSG membership. I?m not sure at this time how my new duties will impact my participation at ICANN, but for the time being, I plan on staying put on the Registration Data Policy IRT. The Policy Committee will, however, need to find a replacement for me for any follow-up work on Phase 2 of the EPDP, such as on upcoming Priority 2 issues, which the GNSO may address in the near future. I begin in my new role with UNR on Monday, 21 September, but if you have any questions for me or need my assistance with my change in status over the next week, please do let me know. Thanks.
