Hi all,

as you are aware, we received previous communication about Philippe as
possible candidate for GNSO chair election. we got confirmation that he is
now supported by the whole CSG. first step will be to have call with
Philippe to know him better for those not in council and also asks him
several questions.
to make it clear, this is just about the nomination for the election from
NCPH. It is not about deciding on the vote that will occur during AGM and
we will decide on that later when we hear about CPH candidate too. We need
to decide if we want to support the CSG candidate or if we believe we can
propose a candidate from our side.

Best,

Rafik

Dear Stephanie,

I’m delighted to inform you that the CSG (BC, IPC, ISPCP) support
Philippe's candidacy for GNSO Council Chair. Please let us know the next
steps NCSG intends to take.

Philippe is happy to reach out to the NCSG as you may wish.

Best regards

Wolf-Ulrich

Thanks for letting me know Wolf Ulrich, I will let the others know. We
have a policy committee meeting coming up, we can put it on the agenda for
discussion.

Cheers Stephanie

Dear Stephanie,

I hope this finds you well. I want to let you know that the ISPCP
constituency would like to put up Philippe Fouquart being nominated from
our house as a candidate for the GNSO Chair election this year. Philippe is
willing to serve and has got the commitment from his employer for the time
needed to cover the job.

Although BC and IPC over the next days formally have to consult with their
responsible caucus I thought it might be useful for your own deliberations
to be informed in advance. Following CSG approval we would then like to get
into coordination with you and your respective NCSG colleagues.

Keep safe, and best regards

Wolf-Ulrich
