Very happy you are willing to serve, Amr! It wasn't clear to me when I suggested Tapani.
With yourself, Farzi, Matt and Ed we are excellently represented. Thanks to all
I am ok with you communicating the decision, if our chairs are of the same advice.
Best, Stefania

Hi again,
?, and thanks to those who?ve picked up on this. Would it be OK if I communicate to the Council that the NCSG has selected Farzi, Matt and myself with the understanding that Ed will also be a member appointed by the NCA? Looking to the PC leadership team for confirmation.
Thanks again.
Amr

Hi all,
As stated earlier, Matt, Farzy and Amr (if he throws his hat in the ring, which is the case now) would be my endorsement.
Thanks a lot guys!
Cheers

Hi Amr,
Thanks for this.
If you are willing to serve...wow, that's great news!
My choices are yourself, Matt and Farzi along with a note that I withdrew my name from consideration as I had already been nominated by the NCA...along with great thanks to all those who stepped up and were willing to serve.
I agree: let's get this done. In American terms, this is the Super Bowl of the entire transition for the NCSG. Let's get this right.
Best,
Ed

OK?, since I am a candidate for the third spot on this group, maybe I shouldn?t be part of the decision. I?ll leave it up to the rest of you on who the third NCSG member of the DT will be. But if possible, could we have a decision before the weekend starts?
I would really prefer to address this preemptively on the Council list before somebody else brings it up, which I imagine will happen soon.
Thanks.

+ 1 I would also like to see Amr on this given his knowledge of GNSO policies and procedures.

Hi everybody,
Thanks Amr for picking up on this.
Let me withdraw my name from consideration. I would ask, though, that in the transmission to staff it be noted that my name was withdrawn from consideration as I had already been nominated by the NCA.
Certainly. If you weren?t nominated by the NCA, I would have opted for you to be an NCSG rep.
Totally agree with Matt and Farzi. I would ask Amr to reconsider his decision as there is no one in the NCSG with a greater knowledge of GNSO policies and procedures than he. I may be breeching protocol here but I think we really need his skills and his experience working with and against Steve Metaltiz and company. If you can't do it Amr, cool, but please know you would be my first choice of all of us. In your absence, either Tapani or Karel would be fine choices as people with GNSO experience.
Appreciate the kind words, but the way I see it, this group specifically requires NC folks with more of a deep understanding of the CCWG recs than GNSO procedures. I will do my best to keep an eye on this DT?s work, even if I am not on it. I also plan on signing up as a participant to the GNSO Review WG.
Thanks.
Amr
