(From the peanut gallery) I agree 100%. Markus has always had an open door to civil society - I know from personal experience ever since the IGF MAG was first created (almost a decade ago) and he ran its administration. As I was a member of the IGF MAG for civil society at the time, working with Markus was a delightful change in that he really did take civil society into account, something we don't typically get from such "high level" actors in global governance systems. And it has been that way with him ever since. We would be very well positioned to have Markus as our board representative. Let's make it happen.
