[NCSG-FC] Personal News / Potential Conflict

Dear all,

As I advised on today's call, I have resigned my membership from the NCUC effective 30 July and, as I am an NCUC appointee to the Finance Committee, it is only right that the NCUC Executive Committee consider the implications of my decision.

I will be remaining an NCSG member (unaffiliated to any constituency) and while I will not officially be a member of the Finance Committee, I do intend to be informally observing the Finance Committee from the sidelines. I flag this because, as I was reviewing the draft operating procedures and reflecting on comments I made during today's call, I indicated that non-members of the Finance Committee should be able to comment and provide input to the Finance Committee. Given I may well be one of those individuals, this could be seen as a bias in the document.

I want to make you aware of this. I do not think it is a major bias that materially impacts my ability to further contribute to the development of the operating procedures, but ultimately that is not and should not be my decision to make, so please do speak up if you disagree with my assessment. Thanks.

Best wishes,

Ayden
